Accuflo

Accuflo™ Open Cell Foam

Accuflo interior and surface microscopic photos

Porelon Accuflo™ is unique, chemically-blown open cell polyurethane foam that is extremely durable and highly resistant to fluctuations in temperature and humidity. It delivers thousands of crisp, legible impressions from encapsulated ink, which makes Accuflo™ ideal for applications such as postal cancellation, lumber and carton marking and other processes where ink is continually fed to a marking device. The foam is also well suited for marking on non-porous substrates. Accuflo's™ interconnected interior pore structure provides very high ink loading capacity. The structure allows for longer usable life, the ability to handle inks with higher pigment concentration than other foams, controlled ink dispensing and uniform coverage. High density Accuflo™ inks are easily read by OCR and barcode scanning equipment, and are ideally suited for harsh operating environments.

Accuflo™ foams can be produced in an almost infinite variety of shapes, forms and densities, and can be impregnated with various types of inks and fluids. The durable foam is also an excellent choice for dry, friction-driven materials-handling applications.
